January, must be expo time at the NEC. I have to say that I did not have great hopes for the show given the general doom and gloom abroad in the media. The reality of the event was however in stark contrast! Busy, busy busy from opening to close.
What can I say, great to see many new faces as well as old friends. Looks like a busy few days for the team at base to sort out contacts, system demonstrations and the various co-operative plans discussed at the show. In short good news for Catalyst, look out motorways here we come.... Seriously, thanks are due clan Mayo and the team for a great show which really has delivered results. It all looks so easy which is a sure sign of a great organising team. I'm old enough to remember the time before, dark and dingy London venue's, fond memories of cricket in the isles with fellow exhibitors as bike dealers seemed to be closer to extinction than the giant Panda. Personally I was not a great fan of the idea of the move to the NEC, I have to say that I was wrong! It's bright, professional and a great curtain raiser for the year. Hoping that organisers and our many visitors have a successful, profitable and enjoyable 2012.
